Looking for a world-class location for sport fishing with a huge diversity of species and the opportunity to land the catch of a lifetime? You’re in the right place. Some of the best deep-sea fishing in Mexico is in Bahía de Banderas in Nayarit. 
Depending on the time of year (ask our team of experts for more details), expect to catch Mahi-Mahi, Roosterfish, Sea Bass, Sierra mackerel, Snapper, or Tuna. If you’re lucky, you’ll land a whopper such as a Sailfish or a Marlin. Two world records have been set in the bay, one for Wahoo (158 lbs) and the other for a Marlin (709 lbs). Each year, the Riviera Nayarit hosts the International Tuna and Marlin Tournament (June to August - dates vary).
